The Mary Wallopers are here to Save Paddy’s Day once again
It’s now been a year since The Mary Wallopers started their lockdown at home sessions on Patrick’s weekend in 2020.
After a year of uncertainty, the Dundalk trad trio were among the shining lights of the Irish live streaming world, broadcasting from their self-built pub and studio from home.
Since then, they’ve popped up regularly with shows that have featured the likes of CMAT, Daragh Lynch (Lankum), Radie Peat and Katie Kim alongside guest appearances from Junior Brother and Shane McGowan.
So it makes total sense that on Paddy’s Day 2021, the17th of Marc, the Wallopers will be celebrating their first anniversary stream with another gig.
Only this time they are promising “even more surprises and less professionalism.”
Watch from 9pm GMT live on March 17th and you can subscribe to their channel here.
Here’s a highlight reel.
