1. Tensnake & Jacques Lu Cont – ‘Feel Of Love’ ft. Jamie Lidell

The funky rhythms of Prince’s music can be felt on this three-way with Lidell doing his soul vibe frontman thing and Tensnake and Lu Cont bringing it all together into one complete package.

2. Seven Davis Jr. – ‘P.A.R.T.Y.’

Samuel Davis is an LA-based singer/producer and as it happens he’s in town supporting Andrew Ashong tonight. And speaking of Prince, ‘P.A.R.T.Y.’ sounds like an edit of one of his deep cuts. From the EP out on March 11th on Funkineven’s Apron Records.

3. The Horrors – ‘I See You’

Shimmering and sparkling epic ambient synth-rock new single from the band’s fourth album.

4. Jay Daniel – ‘Royal Insanity’

Rolling electro-funk from a Detroit producer. This boogie is from his Karmatic Equations EP on Wild Oats out now.

5. Solar Bears – ‘Interzone’

“New studio jam in honour of the late great director Dennis Hopper,” was how this was let out on the world. A fine precursor to whatever album number three will sound like.

6. M83 – ‘I Need You’

A new M83 track as featured on the film Divergent and not only does the song have big cavernous drum beats and a synthesized reaching production, that ‘Midnight City’ sax makes a delightful reappearance.

7. LIZ – ‘All Them Boys’

As introduced during the week, Mad Decent have released a 7-track EP from LIZ, a club-orientated R&B singer. ‘All Them Boys’ is my favourite track from her at the moment.

8. Bok Bok feat. Kelela – ‘Melba’s High’

New collaborative single on Night Slugs featuring my favourite singer of the year so far. ‘Melba’s High’ is a meeting of Fade 2 Mind and Night Slugs, LA and London, from an EP out in May.

9. FKA x inc.

FKA Twigs and inc. collaborated on a zine and a 7″ single track.

10. Blondie – ‘Rapture’ (Luxxury rap-free edit)

A DJ-friendly edit from LA’s Luxxury. Check out his Bandcamp for more of The Clash, Bowie and Fleetwood Mac.
