Cork festival Townlands Carnival announce first acts: RubberBandits, MC Dynamite, Stomptown Brass, Jack O'Rourke & more

Townlands Carnival returns to Rusheen Farm Estate, Macroom, Co. Cork from July 21st to 23rd this year and its first lineup has just been revealed.
July 21 – 23

First acts to play the festival with an emphasis on reggae, soul, hip-hop and comedy are:


Rubber Bandits, Bushy One String, Stomptown Brass, Le Boom, Krafty Kuts, MC Dynamite, Slamboree, Soothsayers, Goulash Disko, Dj Red I, Swinging Travelers, Jack O Rourke, James Or, Cork Samba Band, Paddy Dennehy, Hvmmingbyrd, Shookrah, Sillk, Mama Kasbah, My Fellow Sponges, The Elation Band, Deadly Light Shades, Sister Hyde and the Pesky Magpies, Chalk Outlines, and Grand.

The Village Green area will host talks and spoken word in The Town Hall, and children and families will be catered for by the Big Bubbles Kids Area.

Townlands Carnival is also offering glamping, tipis, yurts, tents and Airstream options.

Tickets


Early Bird and Tier 1 tickets sold out, Tier 2 three-day camping tickets are now on sale. A limited amount of campervan tickets are also still available. Day tickets are also on sale for €50. Festival goers will find point of sale operators including JC Murphys Bar (Macroom), Organico Cafe (Bantry), Toons Bridge Cafe (Toonsbridge), Shire Bar (Killarney), Spin Dizzy records(Georges Arcade, Dublin), Plugd Records (Cork) and Siopa Gan Ainm (Coal Quay Cork).
