Thom Yorke continues to tease material from the upcoming soundtrack to the remake of Suspiria. ‘Volk’ is the third track released by the prolific songwriter from that soundtrack and the follow up to ‘Have Ended‘.
The instrumental track is full of suspense and malice, with an insidious piano motif and shrill brass figures littered throughout. The visuals too are suitably suspenseful, depicting a dystopic and disorientating whirl through colour and form. The animation is drawn and directed by artist RUFFMERCY.
