It’s New Music Friday, which means there’s loads of new songs out. Here are the highlights of the day’s new tracks.

See the New Music section for full selection of tracks and albums featured this week.

Nialler9 Weekly Playlist:

1.

Mango X Mathman, Melina Malone

Heartbreaks & Promises

The second track in a week that interpolates ‘Gypsy Woman’ by Crystal Waters. Mango x Mathman also bring Robin S’ ‘Show Me Love’ along to the party with vocalist Melina Malone doing her significant thing.

This is bound for the reload in the Workman’s Cellar tonight I’d say. Gigs are back babeee!

2

Self Esteem

It’s Been A While

One of the most anticipated albums around these parts dropped today in Self Esteem’s Prioritise Pleasure. ‘It’s Been A While’ is an album track that shows a different side to Rebecca Taylor’s music, with the closest she has come to a rap beat.

3.

Caleb Kunle

Could Be Good

This is really superior slice of soul from the Irish Nigerian artist Caleb Kunle out today. Reminds me of Moses Sumney.

4.

Gemma Dunleavy

Return (Selky remix)

Gemma Dunleavy’s Up The Flats remix EP is out today and so is this fine Selky remix.

“With the remix I wanted to delicately weave a club track through Gemma’s standout vocals, drawing influence from Jersey Club legends UNIIQU3 & R3ll, the result is a club ready elated banger!”

Selky

Selky plays The Lighthouse in Dun Laoghaire tonight.

5.

Kayleigh Noble, CLU

Only One

It’s an ice-cold electronic R&B jam from two Irish artists linking up – Kayleigh Noble and CLU.

6.

Jacques Greene

Faded

An older track from 2011 from the Canadian producer getting a re-release on ANTH01 – an anthology of the early Jacques Greene releases, compiled from LUCKYME, 3024, Night Slugs and Vase: re-mastered and expanded with additional tracks

7.

Jehnova

In A Daze

Jehnova follows up his recent Avenoir mixtape with lod with this lovely loosey.

8.

Enfant Sauvage

Time To Fall

The Blaze’s Guillaume Alric is set to release a solo album as Enfant Sauvage called Petricor on November 19th. ‘Time To Fall’ doesn’t fall too far from the French electro duo’s DNA with a building, rushing sense of electronic euphoria accompanied by a rich music video also directed by Alric.

9.

All We Are

Eden

Produced by Hot Chip’s Al Doyle and Joe Goddard, All We Are’s first tune since their third album Providence last year is a slinky whispery number. They play Academy 2 in Dublin next week, October 31st.

10.

Wyvern Lingo

We Found Love / Jasmine

11.

Orion Sun

Concrete

Brooklyn-based singer songwriter and producer Orion Sun’s ‘Concrete’ was produced alongside Rostam Batmanglij. It’s a lovely haze.

12.

ANZ, George Riley

You Could Be

This tune slaps in a Night Slugs meets pop in 2012 way. It’s from Anz’ new EP All Hours out Ninja Tune.
