A standout track from the Malia Obama-endorsed Pro Era rapper.

The New York rapper Joey Bada$$ has been pegged as one of the defining voices of a new rap generation for a while now. His new album B4.Da.$$ leans heavily on 90s rap production as expected but whether Bada$$ himself makes a big enough impression in that melée I’m not so sure. Still, he does a fine take on ‘Scenario’ era rap on ‘No 99’. See also, the poppy Kiesza bonus track ‘Teach Me How To Dance’.
