OK it’s been a few weeks due to me being away so there’s some songs that are a few weeks old in here.

3. The Derevolutions – ‘Now You Know My Name’
A sweet whistle-hook bright indie jam from the Boston band The Derevolutions. The band are Brett Boucher + Ana Karina
4. Kelis – ‘Runnin’ (Machinedrum Remix)
Machinedrum has stepped up and turned in a beguiling remix of Food album slow cut ‘Runnin’.
5. Ben Khan – Savage
Really getting into Mr Khan now. It’s like Jai Paul if he released records. This is from his forthcoming 1992 EP.
6. I Have A Tribe – ‘Yellow Raincoats’
Patrick O’Laoghaire was playing with Slow Skies a year ago. Now he’s supported Anna Calvi on a European Tour and releases a debut EP on Faction Records next month with two gigs in Dublin’s Chancery Lane Theatre.
7. TĀLĀ – ‘The Duchess’
The debut track from an London/Iranian musician cultivates an aesthetic that references her ancestry through deep-low end, bright synth melodies, vocal cutups and nuanced percussion. TĀLĀ is the sole composer, producer and singer.
8. Taylor McFerrin – ‘The Antidote’ (feat. Nai Palm)
Son of Bobby ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’ McFerrin has an album coming on Brainfeeder in June. RIYL: Fly Lo. Duh.
9. Ryan Vail – ‘Grow’
A sombre elegy from the Derry duo, their first in a year.
10. Tune-Yards – ‘Wait For A Minute’
A slow R&B-style cut from Tune-Yards’ new album.
